Left to myself, I'd probably have bought rohu; because of him, I bought sole, filleted. Still, it turned out well, and he liked it a lot.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6117006110495922887.post-25618063398131723302010-11-12T06:59:26.689-08:002010-11-12T06:59:26.689-08:00Thank you very much, mum is going to be very happy...Thank you very much, mum is going to be very happy.May I know which fish you used?Shilpi Bosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17815522172951304358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6117006110495922887.post-3285507805013607012010-11-12T02:04:44.475-08:002010-11-12T02:04:44.475-08:00Shilpi, I made this for dinner last night, and it ...Shilpi, I made this for dinner last night, and it was a big hit! Here in Mumbai it is not that fresh it is brought in from other places and is stored in ice boxes so you need to add this wee bit of garlic paste. The garlic imparts a nice flavour.Shilpi Bosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17815522172951304358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6117006110495922887.post-82445551696690453382010-09-28T23:53:07.688-07:002010-09-28T23:53:07.688-07:00Glad to know both of you plan to try it, please le...Glad to know both of you plan to try it, please let me know how it turns out and whether you added your own personal touch.Shilpi Bosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17815522172951304358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6117006110495922887.post-13629532055880804652010-09-27T21:44:22.635-07:002010-09-27T21:44:22.635-07:00Oh, this sounds so good. I used to avoid making dishes that needed onion paste because I'm just too lazy to grind the onions in my mortar and pestle... until I read a shortcut to that somewhere: chop the onions, then blend them with a handheld blender. Easy!

Am going to make this the next time I buy fish. Tonight I'm going to be making fish Oriental style, braised in tea. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6117006110495922887.post-81549505473310864012010-09-27T08:30:19.433-07:002010-09-27T08:30:19.433-07:00Will try this one for sure.
