Thank you for this recipe - I made it for lunch today, and it turned out well! I'm familiar with something similar, which I make often: it's with boiled potato and coarsely crushed black pepper, but no tomato. I must agree that the addition of the tomato gives it more character. Am adding this to my list of easy recipes!
ReplyDeleteThe key must be LOTS of pepper :D This looks easy enough for even ME to make. And has made me hungry!
ReplyDeleteMy mum usually adds these little touches like the tomato for instance which usually makes a difference.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourites tiffins in school. If i were to have it now just by itself (not with, say, porota), i would crumble some phhuckas into it for the crunch. What do you think?
ReplyDeleteVery colorful blog, btw :)
That is a great idea must try it sometime.
ReplyDeleteLooks a very simple recipe.
ReplyDeleteEven I should be able to make this! :-)
Thanks, Shilpi.
I like to have it for breakfast with some toast. I have never tried it but I think a sandwich with this filling should taste quite nice.
